WEEK 1

James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

Dear God, Thank you for the Easter holidays. We thank you for the chance we have had to rest. Give us all we need to succeed in the term ahead. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A prayer on St George’s Day:

Oh God, who gave Saint George strength and steadfastness during the many trials he endured for our holy faith, we ask you to keep our faith strong and free from doubt through his intercession. May we serve you faithfully with sincere hearts for all our days. Amen.

Father God, We thank you that you know each of us by name and that you know everything we need. Help us to make the best of each day, so that we can live out the Wisdom that you give to us.  In Jesus; name, Amen.

Dear Lord, We pray for all those who serve us in the emergency services – give them the strength, wisdom and encouragement they need.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.

WEEK 2

James 3:17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.

Father God, We thank you for all those who work in the medical profession. We ask that you bless them as they treat their patients and give them the wisdom and skills they need to serve us. Thank you for Nurse Carol.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Dear Lord, We thank you for another day of learning and for everyone in our school community that makes it possible. Thank you for all our premises staff who take care of the school and the buildings so that we can continue to learn and grow. Amen.
