Dear Lord, We thank You for the mystery of creation:

for the beauty that the eye can see,

for the marvels that the ear can hear,

for all the amazing mysteries that fill

the universe with wonder. Amen.

Dear Lord, Thank you for another school year and for all the good things we’ve done. We pray you would bless the last day of term tomorrow and that you would keep us safe and well through the summer and bring us together again in September. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Term 1 2025/6

WEEK 1

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.  Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

Thank you for bringing us back safely to start the year here at St. George’s. We ask that you help us to make the most of this new start and to try our best in whatever we do, not just today but every day throughout this year.

Dear Lord, thank you for all the staff who are a part of the St George’s community. Give them wisdom and all they need to help them fulfil their roles. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

We thank you for our Parents, Carers and families and for all that they do for us and mean to us. Help us to be the best version of ourselves, not only at school but at home too. Help us to continue to make the most of every opportunity.

Today is the Lord’s Prayer,

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.

We thank you for our Governors. We thank you for their dedication and their willingness to give up their time for our school. We pray that you will bless them with wisdom and give them clear guidance as they work with Mr Mirams and the leadership team to make our school the best it can be.

Dear Lord, Thank You for fearfully and wonderfully creating each of us. Thank You for giving us worth in Your eyes. Help us live as who You uniquely intended us to be. Help us to live peacefully and joyfully with others. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
