Term 2 Week 1

A prayer written by a Year 10 pupil: Dear Fellow Pupils, Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or discouraged for the lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Never back down never give up. Amen |
5-11-24 |
Dear God, Thank you for the fun and laughter of Bonfire Night. We pray that we stay safe on Bonfire night. Help us to sparkle like the fireworks and sparklers - and let our lights shine. Guide us to light the sparkle in others and encourage them to follow in your footsteps. Amen |

A prayer by a primary school pupil: Dear God, Thank you for our food and water. Thank you for our friends and family. We pray today that we can be kind to one another. We hope that we can show forgiveness and compassion. Amen |

Dear God, thank you for my family and my friends and I hope that the people on the streets and those with no money will be helped. Thank you for all we have, Amen. |

Heavenly Father, We pray for all the festivities at this time of year and for your joy and peace. We thank you for this time of year, when we celebrate the birth of Jesus. Please bless the Carol service this evening as we celebrate the message of Christmas. Amen |

Dear Lord, We pray for the homeless and those in need at this time of year. May they be kept safe and we thank you for the work of the Gap project, Salvation Army, Thanet Food Link - and others locally who support the homeless community. In Jesus’ name, Amen. |
